    This building houses one of the best places to relax while enjoying a quick bite and coffee (or Tea) - The DMCC Lounge!DMCC LOUNGEIve been eyeing this place since I made a deposit to my Emirates NBD account using the ATM machine in the same floor and building a while back.Today, after making another bank transaction, Ive made a decision to check out this place - The DMCC Lounge.AMBIENCEBefore its entrance, there is a peculiar piece of art that got me even more interested in getting inside the lounge.Upon entry, youd feel like youre smacked in the middle of two worlds. To your left is a neat looking cafe facade, while the right side looks like a real estate showroom.Actually its a coffee shop with scale model of buildings including my favorite, Blue Waters Island.The place also mimic the feel of an art gallery in some respects - or at least thats how I felt like as I walk inside past the entrance.Lights are warm to the eyes and strategically distributed around the whole place that puts hues of elegance in most corners of this lounge.Yes, because of the homy lights, comfy furnitures, nice looking stuff they use to present your food (Yes, I ordered some so I have a reason to stay and take IG-worthy photos haha!), this coffee shop deserves to call itself a Lounge because you cant help but relax when youre already inside admiring all of its interiors.And exteriors - Yes, they have an al fresco spot which overlooks a good view if you fancy such and fresh air while you enjoy your coffee, tea or something else.FOODCoffee was not available earlier so I ordered their Detox Elixir. Basically the most fragrant tea Ive ever had in my life. Taste is basic, but that aroma and its warmth are enough to relax me and hopefully detox me as well haha!I also ordered this breadbowl-looking bread that, they said, had a garlic and cream filling. That sounded yummy, it actually looked yummy, so I ordered and was I so glad I did! Hands-down, one of the best-tasting simple bread Ive ever consumed here in Dubai. Really YUMMY and, more importantly, super filling because its not a small piece of bread.All these are brought to my table and presented in a way that just made me go Thats really nice!.OVERALL EXPERIENCEId like to say Not Too Bad.. but that wont be representative of my brief experience inside the DMCC Lounge.Because I was amazed by the entrance and wanted to go inside and did go inside and loved it.Because when I was inside the interiors were mesmerizing.Because when I settled down on a table and enjoyed my drink and food, I felt like I just want to do that and be there for the rest of the day.Dont take my word for it.     Very well architectured and maintained. Highly secured and attentive security. I used to meet my client DMCC above the 50th floor. There was a lift that was helping me directly reach the 48th floor in less than a minute. Sounds amazing right.

    A wonderful building where you can communicate directly with companies responsible for selling, cutting and polishing diamonds and some high quality gemstones. It also has high security and in the surrounding square there are some rest areas where you can eat, have cold drinks and relax. The view is also beautiful and quiet.

    Almas Tower (Arabic: برج الماس Diamond Tower) is a 68-storey, 360 m (1,180 ft), supertall skyscraper in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction of the office building began in early 2005 and was completed in 2008 with the installation of some remaining cladding panels at the top of the tower. The building was topped out in 2008, and became the tallest building in Dubai until 2009 when it was surpassed by Burj Khalifa.

    Very close to public. It has 1 hour free parking as well if you need to do anything in Almas building dont be worried about the parking. There are lots of cafe on the ground floor which I have tried some of them and all of them were great. It is close to water and you can walk around as well.

    Nice and busy building.If you park underground (which you probably will) get out of the elevator and turn right (not left), the reception is a couple of meters away.If you turn right you will have a nice walk to circle the whole building like I did the first time lol.Very friendly security and easy but secure access.They have a lot of nice shops and drinking or eating establishments and even banks on the ground floor.

    Once upon a time it was Dubais second tallest tower. After Burj Khalifa that is the worlds tallest. But I am not sure about it right now, it is home to many trading companies and there are some diamond traders as well. The name Almas could mean diamond in Arabic, at least in Turkish Elmas means diamond. Apart from the trading companies there is a gym (fidelity), some restaurants, coffee shops and fast food, a tailor shop, and dmcc offices are there. Another significant thing related to Almas tower is that once a year there is a climbing competition. Not from the surface like Tom Cruise in mission impossible no. But by the stairs. I did it 2 years in a row, I climbed all the 64 floors. The moments between the floors 30-50 last like eternity. Well, apart from the moments I got 2 nice but similar t-shirts from the event. Well, thats all about Almas tower...

    Take exit at DMCC metro. Take exit to your right. Walk to your left.If you need to visit any office as a non-staff, youll need to submit your Emirates id on the reception, then theyll give you a pass card just like a metro card, when youre finished your work for whichever office you wanted to, come back to reception give the card back and collect your Emirates ID back.
