My name is Ayman Ali Abbani, and I live in Damac Hills 2. In December 2024, I was looking to move to a new villa because my landlord had given me a one-year notice to leave. I found a villa through Property Finder and worked with an agent. She was supportive at first and guided me to sign the contract and transfer the payments, which included her commission, Damac’s commission, and management fees. I transferred a total of 9,019 AED.After I made the payment, the landlord canceled the deal, and Damac started offering higher-priced options that were out of my budget. The agent seemed to only care about her commission and didn’t seem concerned with finding me a suitable home. Since my current lease was almost up, I decided to stop working with both the agent and Damac. I reported the issue to the agents company, 7 States, and the COO, Mr. Ayoub, listened to my situation and promised to help. The next day, Mr. Ayoub called me to the office and returned my money, admitting that the mistake was on the agent’s part and taking responsibility. He also assured me that he would follow up until the money was transferred back to me so i can transfer the amount to back him . I was grateful for his help during a stressful time, and I’m thankful to him for making things right. If I ever decide to buy a villa, I’ll definitely reach out to Mr. Ayoub.
